THE PLAINFIELD CO-OP
Co-op to the Core Since 1972!

Plainfield, VT

ABOUT US:

What might appear at first glance as just another rural New England town is anything but. Local Goddard College has always attracted educated liberal types with colorful flair, including members of the band Phish, David Mamet, Piers Anthony, and abstract artist Robert M. Fisher.  An art gallery, bookstore, pizza place, and community-maintained flower garden add to the charm, as does the public library just down the road on US Route 2 where they often still check out books using the old-fashioned honor system.

CLASSIC PLAINFIELD:

GODDARD COLLEGE What began as a seminary spanning the years 1863 to 1937 is now a unique, low-residency Adult Degree Program focusing on liberal arts and fine arts.
