RIVER HOUSE YOGA River
House Yoga is Plainfield's community oriented Yoga, fitness, and
movement space located next to the Blinking Light Gallery and holding
classes 7 days a week. Classes are offered by donation or on a drop in
basis. The River House also features workshops, local art, and yoga and

BREAD & PUPPET Politically radical puppet theater founded in the 1960s. While currently based in Glover, VT, it's just too juicy not to mention. Their satirical Uncle Sam on stilts is a highlight of the Fourth of July celebrations in nearby Cabot.
PLAINFIELD HISTORICAL SOCIETY If it illustrates or helps establish the history of Plainfield, chances are, it’s here. The Society’s collection of Plainfield history materials includes 700 slides made from private collections, 36 oral history tapes recorded between 1989 and 1991, a republished 140 page pictorial history of the town, and the much-loved annual calendar filled with fascinating old-timey historical photographs.

THE COUNTRY BOOKSHOP Located in a charming 100 year old country home, they have 30,000 books in all subject areas – with specialties including folklore, folk music, and books about bells & carillons.
CUSHINGS CLUTTER ANTIQUES Family-owned for over 30 years and known for their high-quality oak, walnut and mahogany furniture. A good selection of marble top stands & chests, and if you’re in the market for antique dining room chairs, look no further.
